Aging Assistant’s mission is to provide superior service with the same care, concern and compassion that we would provide to our own families. We have over 14 years of caregiving experience with seniors and we are licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services. We provide families with the peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands and getting the assistance that they need.

***Must have reliable transportation to and from caregiver assignments.***

Our clients need assistance with daily skills to maintain independence and dignity and remain in their homes. Our caregiver requirements include:

• Responsible, caring, kind, compassionate

• Able to assess and prioritize while following client/family/company guidelines

• Ability to lift/push/pull 25+ pounds

• Light housekeeping and daily living tasks such as doing dishes, changing sheets, completing laundry, sanitizing surfaces and tidying areas

• Clients may need assistance shopping, getting to appointments.

• Clients may need assistance in grooming, including bathing, dressing, preparing for the day

• Negative TB test required

• Home Care Registration required

• Clean background, Live Scan Required

• Basic First Aid/CPR training a plus

• Cooking, including meal preparation, serving, feeding, cleaning up may be required

• Basic computer skills. Our timesheets and task lists are all web-based apps. Extremely easy to download and use.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

• No nights

COVID-19 considerations: We ask our caregivers to be vaccinated, encourage mask wearing when appropriate, and encourage good hygiene, including frequent hand washing.

Ability to commute/relocate: Sacramento, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
