No Place Like Home Health is a veteran owned, small, independent business providing skilled medical services (nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and medical social work), non-medical personal care and companion care services. We provide these services to seniors, elderly, mentally challenged, and physically challenged adults. Through coordinated care and support for clients and their families, No Place Like Home Health enables individuals to remain in the safety and comfort of their own home environments for as long as possible. No Place Like Home Health also serves clients transitioning back home from an assisted living setting or from a hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation facility.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Certified Home Health Aid (CHHA)

Home Health Aid (HHA)

MUST HAVE VALID CURRENT CERTIFICATION WITH TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION!

Employment options include:

• Set weekly hours / clients

• Short shifts - Can combine for multiple clients/patients!

• Medical Per Visit: Flexible days/times within set work week

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care outlined in the patient care plan and under the direction of nursing staff

• Transfer Clients

• Assists with ADL's (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc...)

• Assist with IADL's (meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc...)

• Provide companionship to patients

• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Two (2) years of patient care experience in a home health care setting; hospice experience and working with Alzheimer and/or Dementia clients highly preferred

• Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to build a positive rapport with our patients

• Must be compassionate and caring

• Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology

• Must have your own reliable transportation and valid MI drivers license

• Negative TB Skin Test or Negative Chest X-Ray

• CPR Certification
